I'm Elias, a German story artist, illustrator and self-publishing comic writer with a passion for stories and animation.
I started working in the industry working on explanatory videos at Youknow GmbH in Munich. Since 2018 I study animation at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. I'm also busy with freelance work and frequently design storyboards and illustrations for clients such as Amazon Prime ("Maxton Hall"), German public network SWR ("SWR Portrait", "Alles Liebe"), ARD, Brother GmbH, Netze BW, as well as various others.
Our latest short film "Obervogelgesang" - which my friend and colleague Ferdinand Ehrhardt and I directed together - was selected by the international as well as regional competition of the ITFS in Stuttgart and was shown in Dresden, Potsdam, Rostock and at Bundesfestival Junger Film 2021. It was also nominated for the German Short Film Award and won the Baden-Württemberg Film Award 2021 in the category Animation. We are very grateful and thank our wonderful team for their dedication and time!
